The MEDCEM FAMILY is aware of its responsibilities to regulate the current growth and development with a perspective that does not endanger the lives and resources of future generations. MEDCEM considers the entire life cycle in its processes as a whole. MEDCEM, which has created both a social and physical vision to protect the global system, ecology, economy and energy that make up this life cycle, has adopted this sustainability vision as a priority in its investments and processes as all group companies and employees.

WASTE MANAGEMENT
The wastes generated in our port are not caused by the production process, but are caused by maintenance activities and office activities (tea rooms, administrative offices, etc.). The wastes generated in our port are separated at the source and sent to recycling and energy recovery. In this way, it is ensured that the wastes formed are minimized at the source and brought back to the economy. Thanks to the zero waste management system, all of our employees play a major role in reintroducing waste into the economy.

MEDCEM PORT, whose mission is to reduce CO2 emissions to combat climate change, continues its activities with energy efficiency applications.
Energy efficiency
Products with high energy efficiency are preferred in the machinery, devices and equipment used at every stage of the operation, and the energy consumption in the facility is kept at an optimum level with the energy management system.
Water Management
Water is one of the main sources of industry as well as the main source of life. Water efficiency has gained more and more importance in recent years due to important factors such as population growth and climate change. MEDCEM PORT keeps water usage at minimum level with electronic control at water consumption points.
